Nearly all of our furniture is made with FSC-certified maple from responsibly managed forests. When you buy FSC-certified furniture from Community Playthings, you show children that you care about the forests they will inherit.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an independent non-profit organization established to promote the management of the world's forests in accordance with environmentally and socially responsible guidelines. Products carrying the FSC mark have been independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are legally and responsibly harvested. Furniture products from Community Playthings come from FSC-certified maple forests within 500 miles of our woodshop.
FSC is the most stringent wood certification program, and the only one to date that can help qualify for LEED® credits (MRc7: Certified Wood).
Designers and architects:
Ask about our FSC-certified furniture products for your LEED® projects! Many of our products support LEED® credit (MRc7: Certified Wood).
