Thank you so much for providing information about Montessori in a way that other Early Childhood Communities are aware of the beauty and wonder of a system that has upheld the many changes in the education community.

Maria Montessori was a woman beyond her years and advanced that even now educators are coming to rea;lize the importance of the movement.

I too, am a Montessorian. I have been for over 30 years. I work in a public community college in California and I am constantly speaking of the virtues of the method, program and learning methods.

Kudos!!, and many thanks again.

Dear Rachel:

We have been subscribing to Collage for about 9 months, and are grateful for the quality of each issue.

Your recent issues on Reggio Emilia and Montessori make me hopeful that you will do similar research and present an issue on Waldorf education -- and I see on your website that you have not yet done so. Waldorf, Reggio, and Montessori all have similar roots in the European educational reform movements of the late 19th and early 20th century, and all three are making world-wide educational contributions. While they share a similar priority focus upon nurturing the developing child, the distinctives of each pedagogy are fascinating ... and important.

If we may be of any assistance in your research into Waldorf education, please feel free to contact us. I would be delighted to send you an introductory packet of information, direct you toward possible people to interview, or anything else that might be helpful.

Blessings!

Thanks, Tim, for such a comprehensive and insightful discussion of the Montessori vision and its relevance to Public Schooling. It is my hope that this article will find its way into other publications so that Public Montessori can be more widely understood. For all of us already engaged in th

Loved your information on Montessori! I offer one suggestion. The website www.amiusa.com (AMI – USA) is more informational and useful than the website http://www.montessori-ami.org/ .

AMI – USA is the United States office of the international organization and their recently updated website is rich with information and user friendly.

I currently receive your quarterly newsletter and enjoy it very much. I am wondering if it is possible to view past issues? You had a number of articles this past Fall, on block building, and I would like to access them again.

Thank you very much,

Laura

Glad you liked the block articles! Back issues from the last couple of years are available on our articles page.
