The entry to the kindergarten building also displays the children's handiwork.
The message on the door, written by the children, invites the parents to a "night hike."
Natural materials beautifully displayed invite children to investigate, manipulate, explore, and create fanciful stories.
A vase of Lily-of-the-Valley with magnifying glasses, paper, and markers. Children use the magnifier to examine, notice, and draw the details of the flower.
A dollhouse with a variety of tactile materials to entice imagination.
The coziness of the housekeeping area closely resembles what is found in the children's homes.
Pillows, books to read, and our pet rat make an inviting area. The glass doors lead to the sunroom, which is our art studio.
A recent interest has been camping. The mural on the wall depicts a nighttime scene. On the floor the children arranged rocks and pots for cooking over a pretend fire.
