Joy: the Most Powerful Stimulus for Learning

It has been said that a child laughs, on average, over 300 times daily.  As beautiful as it is contagious, it is perhaps the most wonderful sound in the world.

A healthy, nurturing environment will be full of laughter.  Joy is an important element of learning. In fact, joy is considered the most powerful of all mental stimuli.

For children, expressing joy involves movement. They love to move. However, in an increasingly sedentary world, children need to be given more opportunities to move and develop their balance, strength, and stamina.
