Increasing Family Engagement

An active, reciprocal relationship between parents and early childhood programs is always a win-win situation.

But try thinking beyond traditional parent-volunteer opportunities that are dominated by domestic tasks such as preparing food or cleaning. When parents are actively engaging with children in endeavors such as helping with a class project or sharing their skills with a class, this has a more positive impact on children’s learning.
