We don't believe in sharp corners. These blocks are velvet-smooth, and all edges are evenly curved. Small architects can recognize a Community Playthings block with their eyes closed.

Accurately Cut
Since blocks are building tools, they need to be precise, and are we ever fussy! We measure our blocks to the nearest 1/100th of an inch. Accuracy is crucial to the math concepts your children are learning as well as to the stability of their structures.
Solid Maple
Our blocks are exceptionally resistant to splintering and denting. The Storage Chest is also solid maple, with a non-warping plywood lid.
Modular
The length of each unit is exactly twice the width, which is exactly twice the thickness. When you mix all four sizes of blocks, you'll find that the modularity continues - Mini Units are half the size of the Units, which are half the size of the Mini Hollows...
