Hardwood Frame
The hidden strength of our interlocking mortise and tenon joints make a sturdy, durable frame, finished with a child-safe clear wood finish. The crib is further protected by plastic rail covers.
Wooden Dowels
Dowels are safely spaced less than
2-3/8" apart. All dowels/slats on Community Playthings Cribs pass the rigorous new 80 lbs. static load requirement.
Compact Storage
All cribs assemble and disassemble without any tools. They won't take up much space in your storage closet, and they're easy to put together when another child arrives.
Label Holder
Clear plastic label holder clips onto end or side rails. New names can be inserted easily.
Height Adjustable Mattress
This crib can safely accommodate newborns at a convenient height for caregivers. Childsafe adjustment allows you to lower the mattress height for active infants or toddlers.
Mattress is made of polyurethane foam core with fire barrier fabric and a polyester knit cover with waterproof polyurethane coating for comfort and ease in cleaning.
BackSafe design
Ease baby into bed from a comfortable height. Telescoping dowels "shrink" the side by six inches. Your back will thank you.
BackSafe Cribs pass all CPSC requirements
Childproof Latch
One hand is all it takes to release our patented childproof latch and adjust the Backsafe side, since your other arm is holding a sleepy baby. Just lift, then squeeze triggers.
Locking Casters
Cribs roll smoothly on 2" locking casters.
Forest Stewardship Council certification assures that the product is produced from wood from responsibly managed forests.

BackSafe Cribs pass all CPSC requirements. How?
- They're not dropsides, so they're not banned. A moveable section of rigidly attached sides telescopes downward to save caregivers' backs.
- They are tested for slat strength and impact resistance.
- Structural joints employ a secondary means of fastening.
