How to Make a Sock Horse

Sock Horse You will need: an old sock, felt or heavy cloth, stuffing material, a hot glue gun, 2 safety pins, scissors, and a sturdy stick. View Full Size
Sock Horse 1. Draw on eyes and mouth using a permanent marker. View Full Size
Sock Horse 2. Cut out ear shapes and pin them on from the inside of the sock. View Full Size
Sock Horse 3. Cut mane as shown from a rectangular shaped piece of felt. View Full Size
Sock Horse 4. Using hot glue, attach the center of the mane to the sock. View Full Size
Sock Horse 5. Fill the head with stuffing. View Full Size
Sock Horse 6. Insert the stick, add stuffing around it to make the neck, and tie a thick piece of string around the bottom to secure. View Full Size
